WNYC's Radiolab Co-Host and Science Journalist Lulu Miller at Salem State Writers Series

The Salem State Writers Series and 麻豆成人精品 for Creative and Performing Arts present Peabody award-winning science journalist Lulu Miller

Lulu Miller is the co-host of WNYC鈥檚 (a podcast about science and curiosity), host of (an occasionally musical podcast about nature), co-creator of (a podcast about psychology) and author of national bestseller 鈥淲hy Fish Don't Exist鈥, a nonfiction scientific thriller and memoir. Her writing has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, VQR, Orion, and beyond. Her reporting interests include disability, mental health, and, inexplicably, entomology.  She has won honors from the George Foster Peabody Awards, the Associated Press, and the National 麻豆成人精品 on Disability and Journalism.

Graduate student Heather Wright will open the evening. Wright is the Managing Editor of Salem State's national literary magazine Soundings East. The Salem State Writers Series invites noted authors of short stories, biography, poetry, memoir and essays to share their work at free readings throughout the academic year. These events also include annual student and faculty readings.
