The research paper co-authored with Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Ray Galvin from the University of Cambridge is also currently the second-most downloaded paper from the journal Energy Research and Social Science.

Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Healy is a contributing author for the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The IPCC shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. The IPCC is the main United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change. The IPCC 6th Assessment Report is due to be published in 2022 and will provide countries and governments with an objective, scientific view of global climate change and its impacts. Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Healy is part of Working Group III, responsible for assessing the mitigation of climate change, and will be contributing author for Chapter 4 on ‘Mitigation and development pathways in the near-to mid-term’.
Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Healy also recently secured a $57,000 grant through the multi-school fossil fuel divestment fund. The funds were used to establish two endowed student scholarships. On April 1, 2021, Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Healy announced that Toiell Washington won the divestment social justice award, while Rhaea Heffner won the Ken Saro-Wiwa Climate Justice award. Both students were awarded $1,000 each.
