Title: The Mathematical X-Files
Abstract: 鈥淐razy.鈥 鈥淣erd.鈥 鈥淲icked smaht.鈥 People who enjoy mathematics are often as misunderstood as the topic itself. Mathematics isn鈥檛 just about formulas and rules; it鈥檚 about the beauty of the applying abstraction to understand the concrete. In this talk, we will explore how the Mathematical X-files appear in gameplay and decision making, biological phenomena, generative art, future-casting, and as an emerging partner for literary analysis. This talk is rated for all for all audiences.
