Students of the Salem State University Art + Design Department are showcasing their works in the 2022 Student Art Awards Exhibition March 21-April 15, 2022 at the university鈥檚 Winfisky Gallery.
Each year, art + design recognizes the achievements of its most outstanding majors and minors. The 2022 Student Art Awards exhibition features the work of 25 students in painting, printmaking, 3D arts, art history, graphic design, and photography.
The Winfisky Gallery hours are 10 am-4 pm Monday-Friday. The gallery is located on the ground floor of the Ellison Campus 麻豆成人精品 on North Campus.
鈥淲e are delighted to host a live show of student work after two years of virtual presentations,鈥 shares Winfisky Director Ken Reker. 鈥淭he works on display demonstrate a wide range of styles, techniques, and viewpoints, reflecting the breadth and depth of Salem State鈥檚 art + design program.鈥
Students receiving special awards for exceptional achievement and contributions to the art + design department can be found below:
- Presidential Creativity Awards: Erin Melin (Peabody) and Samantha Stickney (Plymouth)
- Winfisky Awards: Alexander Caggiano (Saugus) and Brianna Richardson (Swampscott), Winfisky Award; and Amanda Leahman (Boston)
- Vitto Samartano Award: Amanda Leahman (Boston)
All are welcome to attend an artists reception on Wednesday, April 6 from 4:30-6 pm in the Ellison Campus 麻豆成人精品.
