Recently named a , Salem State faculty, staff, and students have received grants to conduct research and teach in diverse locations like India, Chile, Liberia, and many more.
The Fulbright Program fosters international educational exchange, building enduring connections between the U.S. and other nations. With funding from the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and support from various global entities, the program operates in over 160 countries worldwide.
Since its establishment in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided over 380,000 individuals - including students, scholars, teachers, artists, and professionals - with opportunities to study, teach, research, and collaborate internationally, addressing shared global challenges along the way.
